Newly renovated ballroom and foyer looks nice. Ballroom looks very Grand especially the lighting. Location is good.

Negative reviews: Food was served cold. Audio system not well co-ordinated. Need to improve on table arrangements.

Went there for a wedding dinner. Food was just okay. Good location and ballroom for wedding though.

Worst place ever to organise for wedding
1) most food were served cold
2) very slow service by untrained/temporary staffs (foreigners)
3) inadequate space   -chairs and tables were arranged so close to another table and there was barely room to move about and waiters bumped into chairs of guests
4) chopsticks given was of different length and worst of all was a dirty and used chopstick served to guests! Horrible!
5) toilet was dirty and the seal for drainage on the floor was lose and not fixed!
6) Parking was located quite far from hotel   -limited shutter service to pick up customers
7) bad PA system   -repeated songs were played 3-5 times in a row and some songs were faulty.

  1. My husband Jun Hong and I held our wedding dinner at Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya recently on 21 March 2015. My husband chose Armada Hotel because of its strategic location and he preferred a ballroom to a Chinese restaurant. Our overall experience with the hotel was GREAT! We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our banquet manager, Kelly and her team for going the extra mile to make our dinner a wonderful one.

    We saw the previous feedback in this website that the food may not be as desirable so we had our food tasting and we made several comments. Kelly was very patient with our family and relatives when they gave their comments. We had made several changes including changing the grass prawns to tiger prawns and adding more ingredients to some dishes. Of course there was an increase in price however that was acceptable and reasonable.
    Kelly even bought cream paper for the printing of my menu as I thought that the standard white paper they used were not presentable. On the actual day, she brought me tools for decorating the reception area as I had left them at home. I was touched that she went out to buy blu-tack for me as there was none in the hotel. When the staff saw me hanging the paper banner around the huge pillar in the reception area, they quickly offered their help. Even at the end of the dinner, the staff helped me take down the decorations and kept them in the bags.

    Both of us could truly enjoy the night because of Kelly and the team. Thanks Kelly for her kind patience, prompt replies and ready help provided ever since we signed the contract. Thanks all of the staff for making our wedding banquet a memorable one!
