KLCC Park for the Majestic Petronas Twin Towers

The 50-acre tropical greenery and landscape in the heart of the city, KLCC Park has beautiful gardens, creative architecture, symphony fountains, that will make good photographs. It features various amenities such as a children’s playground, wading pool, jogging track, shelters and benches,
patterned foot-paths and sculptures. Approximately 1,900 indigenous
trees and palms (74 species) are planted within the park areas. The Lake Symphony which comprises two water fountains, located at the
esplanade outside Suria KLCC, is programmed to provide
150 magical dramatic animations.

Photography spots at the KLCC Park to provide visitors with better photo opportunities of the Petronas Twin Towers:

  • Persiaran KLCC, near the intersection of Jalan Ampang and Jalan P. Ramlee;
  • Elevated pedestrian bridge in KLCC Park;
  • Adjacent to Masjid Asyakirin;
  • East side of KLCC Park; and
  • Two areas near Menara Exxon-Mobil. | Jun 2014

Wonderful place with many different backgrounds for photo shooting. The only hassle is before hand took me a while to get their permission for the shoot,but at least is free!
Jun 16: Clean air, walk in the evening, especially after rain, and cafes surrounding. Also the lakes are nice.
Sep 12: Beautifully landscaped park with trees & palms as well as soothing water features. It has a children’s playground, a wading pool & a rubberised jogging track.

If the photographers are amateurs, the KLCC management would not be so “harsh” on you to take photos. This is simply because the photos would be for private use only and not for someone to be making commercial (profitable) gain out of it.
The second point is that KLCC is a private owned property whose owner has decided to allow public to enjoy it. However, they still retain the rights to the Intellectual property and rights. Allowing others to visit or to enjoy the facilities means KLCC management reserved the right to rescind or allow the privileges to others. As a photographers we need to understand the owner perspectives on this. We also as the user need to observe the decorum to ensure that we can continue to enjoy it.
